About the estate
The Chateau Haut Rocher-Chateau Bréhat estate is a property held by the same family since the fifteenth century and managed by Jérôme and Béatrice de Monteil since 2010. The vineyard covers fourteen hectares, divided between the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation with clay-limestone soils and the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation with clay-silt soils. The traditional grape varieties of the Right Bank of Bordeaux are cultivated, featuring Merlot as the majority alongside Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The team works in collaboration with winemaker Thomas Duclos and viticultural advisor Hervé Briane. The estate has been certified for organic farming since 2022 and holds the HVE 3 environmental certification since 2019.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
