Chateau Gûnes

About the estate

The Chateau Gûnes estate is located in Cissac-Medoc within the Bordeaux region and traces its history back to a first mention in 1785. The approximately eight hectares of vineyards are situated within the Haut-Médoc appellation near Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe on well-positioned plots. Vineyard management combines traditional methods with modern techniques, including manual and plot-by-plot harvesting as well as vinification in temperature-controlled concrete or stainless steel tanks. The wines are crafted in a traditional style exclusively in oak barrels without any fining or filtration.
