About the estate
Château Gruaud Larose was founded in 1725 and looks back on a long history shaped by four successive family managements. Located in the Médoc region, the estate benefits from a unique microclimate and soils composed of humus, clay, sand, and pebbles. In the vineyard, the winery relies on agroecological practices to promote a sustainable and biodiverse ecosystem. Since the 2019 vintage, measures have been implemented to convert to organic farming, culminating in certification for the 2022 vintage. The estate produces wines within the Saint-Julien appellation.
