About the estate
The Château Branaire-Ducru estate looks back on a history that began in 1680 and is listed among the growths of the official 1855 classification. Since 1988, the property located in the Médoc within the Saint-Julien appellation has been managed by the Maroteaux family. The vineyard covers 60 hectares situated on gravelly soils with deposits of clay and pebbles. The grape variety selection is largely dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, which is complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The winery is committed to environmentally responsible practices and holds several certified sustainability standards.
