Chateau Fortia

About the estate

The Château Fortia estate is located in the heart of the Rhône Valley within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation and looks back on a history dating back to the 17th century. The winery cultivates 32 hectares of contiguous vineyards with southern exposure, which are covered in rolled pebbles and influenced by the mistral wind. The vineyards are planted with red grape varieties such as Grenache noir, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, as well as white varieties including Roussanne, Clairette, and Grenache blanc. The estate applies sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture practices, which are officially certified by Terra Vitis and the highest level of Haute Valeur Environnementale.
