About the estate
The Château Fonroque estate covers a vineyard area of twenty hectares not far from the village of Saint-Émilion. Located in the AOC Saint Emilion Grand Cru denomination, the property features a large contiguous vineyard situated on a west-facing plateau and slope. The soils across the plots comprise limestone, clay-limestone, and sandy-silty clay. Through the traditional blending of the various vineyard parcels, complex and refined wines are produced. A new cellar equipped with small vats was created at the estate to vinify the harvest from the different soil types separately.
