About the estate
The Château Farizeau is operated by the Moreau family, whose ancestors worked as coopers and cellar masters in the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, Maxime Moreau further developed the winegrowing operations already established in Sadirac and Saint Caprais de Bordeaux. Following ongoing dry periods, the estate changed its working methods in 2010 and began converting to organic agriculture. Since the 2013 vintage, all wines produced by the winery have received organic certification. The portfolio of the estate includes AOC Crémant de Bordeaux.
