Chateau de Montdomaine

About the estate

The Château de Montdomaine estate is located in the heart of the Loire Valley and has been managed since 2015 by Frédéric Plou and his wife Louisa, whose winemaking family looks back on a history of more than 500 years. The estate encompasses 17 hectares of vineyards planted with Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Chardonnay, and Malbec. The vineyards are cultivated using traditional and artisanal methods with respect for nature and local biodiversity. Following the harvest, the wines are aged in the estate's tufa cellars. The produced wines carry the appellations AOC Vouvray, AOC Touraine Amboise, and AOC Touraine.
