About the estate
The Château de Luins is situated in the heart of the Vaud wine region, with a history dating back to 1315. Built in the Middle Ages and remodelled over the centuries, the estate benefits from mineral-rich soils and the proximity of Lake Geneva. For over a century, the property has been in the hands of the Baechtold family, producing wines in respect of Vaud winemaking tradition. In the vineyard, various training methods such as gobelet, guyot, and permanent cordon are practised, complemented by manual harvesting. The estate's wines are protected under the AOC La Côte and AOC Vaud denominations.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Chasselas and Chardonnay.
