About the estate
The Château de la Dauphine estate dates back to 1750 and shares a historical connection with the royal court of Versailles. Located in the Fronsac appellation, the winery encompasses 66 hectares of vineyards planted with 70 percent Merlot and 30 percent Cabernet Franc. Set in an amphitheatre shape along the Dordogne river, the vines thrive on limestone plateaus and clay-limestone soils. The estate operates under certified organic agriculture and additionally implements biodynamic practices, utilizing natural treatments and following the lunar calendar. Particular emphasis is placed on environmental stewardship and the preservation of biodiversity.
