About the estate

The Château de Gayon is situated in Southwestern France near the Pyrenees Mountains and dates back to medieval times. Across nine hectares of vineyards, the estate produces wines within the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic Bilh appellations. The terroir consists of clay mixed with stones, and winemaking practices include manual harvesting alongside gravity-fed cellar operations and aging in French oak barrels. The portfolio features a full-bodied red wine centered on Tannat as well as a semi-sweet white wine made from Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng.

The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Tannat and Cabernet Franc.
