About the estate
The Château Croizet-Bages estate is situated in the heart of the Pauillac appellation and traces its origins back to the seventeenth century. In 1855, the property was elevated to the rank of 5e Grand Cru Classé and continues to be managed by the Quié family. The thirty-hectare vineyard spans one of the most famous gravel ridges around the hamlet of Bages, featuring deep gravel and gravelly sand soils. The vineyards are planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot. The winery follows environmentally conscious practices and holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
