The Château Lynch-Moussas estate is a Grand Cru Classé located within the Pauillac and Haut-Médoc appellations. Acquired by Jean Castéja in 1919, the winery has been passed down through generations of the Castéja family. The 62-hectare vineyard is planted with 75 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 25 percent Merlot. In addition to the Grand Vin, the estate produces a second wine named Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas in the Haut-Médoc appellation using the younger vines. The property is managed by Philippe Castéja, supported by a team of around twenty collaborators.
