About the estate

The Champagne house Champagne Jeangout located in Rilly-la-Montagne is operated as a four-generation family estate and cultivates sites with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grape varieties under the AOC Champagne denomination. The Fagot family acquired the initial agricultural lands in 1928, while Didier Jeangout and his wife Sandrine took over the estate in 1998, followed by Romain Jeangout joining the company in June 2017. Following the HVE certification in 2015, the estate converted to organic viticulture in 2019 and achieved official organic certification in 2023. The producer is listed in the Comité Champagne – Annuaire des élaborateurs (caves) directory and holds an additional certification for Nachhaltig Austria. The portfolio includes 8 sparkling wines and wines in Brut, Extra Brut, Prestige, Rosé de saignée, and Blanc de blancs styles, as well as one liqueur wine and one rosé. The wines are distributed via direct sales and gastronomy.
