About the estate

Founded in 1926 by Henri and Clémence Michel, the Champagne Gilbert Jacquesson estate is located in Troissy within the Marne Valley. Four generations of winemakers have shaped the winery, which was traditionally passed down from mother to daughter before being taken over by Jean-Baptiste and his partner Valérie in 2004. The vineyards are cultivated with Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and the upcoming rare variety Petit Meslier. The estate focuses on Pinot Meunier, producing both single-varietal champagnes and blends. The winery is certified as Haute Valeur Environnementale and has initiated a partial conversion toward organic viticulture.
