About the estate

The Ceretto Aziende Vinicole estate, based in Alba, was founded in the 1930s by Riccardo Ceretto. The sons Bruno and Marcello significantly shaped the direction of the winery by starting to acquire and cultivate vineyards in the best locations of Piedmont. The family focused on producing traditional wines from the wine-growing regions of Barbaresco, Barolo, and Roero. Since the 2015 harvest, all areas of the estate have been operating organically and hold corresponding certification. The descendants continue the tradition in the vineyards and cellars.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo and Arneis. The estate sells to importers, distributors and horeca. Export markets include Belgium, France, Greece and United Kingdom.
