Founded in 1929, the Cave du Vendômois estate is a small cooperative of winegrowers located in Villiers-sur-Loir in the Loire Valley. The winery cultivates 125 hectares of vineyards, representing three-quarters of the AOC Coteaux du Vendômois designation. The plots are situated on plateaus and sun-exposed slopes along the Loir river, featuring soils composed of clay, flint, and limestone outcrops. A distinctive characteristic of the region is the Pineau d'Aunis grape variety, which is cultivated almost exclusively in the Loir Valley today. The production combines a longstanding tradition with modern equipment in the cellar.
