About the estate
The Casa Vinicola Torrearsa estate looks back on a family tradition spanning over two hundred years, located in the region of Sicily. In 1920, the grandfather of current owner Rosario Assennato purchased the Feudo Scalecci property from a Sicilian princess. Today, the winery is managed by the family, with daughter Patrizia continuing to expand the estate's lands. The vineyards thrive on limestone soils with stony minerality in harmony with the Mediterranean climate. Production focuses on quality and includes wines from the Eloro DOC, Sicilia DOC, and Terre Siciliane IGT denominations.
