About the estate
Founded in 1141, the Cantine Ricasoli estate looks back on a history of nearly a thousand years in Tuscany. Covering 240 hectares of vineyards, the traditional winery cultivates all its parcels on hillsides ranging from 220 to 500 meters in altitude. The primary grape variety of the production is Sangiovese, which thrives on the diverse soils of the Chianti Classico region. Through single-parcel vinification and the analysis of distinct geological formations, the estate crafts structured and expressive wines within the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination.
