About the estate
The Cantine Gulino estate is one of the oldest wine cellars in Sicily, looking back on a family tradition dating back to the 18th century. The winery manages 15 hectares of vineyards located in Contrada Fanusa near Syracuse. The vineyards sit on soils of crumbly limestone and sand, influenced by the proximity of the Ionian Sea. The portfolio features wines from the Moscato di Siracusa and Sicilia DOC appellations, highlighting traditional indigenous grape varieties such as Albanello siracusano and Nero d’Avola. Winemaking combines historical cultivation methods with a commitment to preserving the biodiversity of the local terroir.
