The Cantina Sociale di Vicobarone was founded in 1960 in Vicobarone di Ziano Piacentino, in the heart of the Val Tidone. The estate covers 700 hectares of vineyards and relies on more than 160 members who supply grapes from the Colli Piacentini and Oltrepò Pavese DOC zones. Cultivated grape varieties include Barbera, Croatina, Malvasia, and Ortrugo. Vineyard management utilizes traditional training systems such as Guyot Semplice, Casarsa, and Cordone Speronato.
