About the estate
The Cantina Marilina estate was founded in 2007 by Angelo Paternò and his daughter Marilina, with the winery construction project completed in 2009. The property spans 35 hectares of vineyards in southeastern Sicily within the Val di Noto denomination. Production focuses on native grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Moscato, and Grecanico, alongside selected international varieties. The winemaking approach relies on natural processes and vineyard cycles without artificial forcing. The portfolio comprises single-varietal wines, blends, reserve wines with extended wood aging, ancestral sparkling wines, and an orange wine.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Nero d'Avola and Muscat.
