The Cantina Del Vesuvio winery is located in Trecase in the Campania region and is managed by the Russo winemaking family, who has worked the hills of Mount Vesuvius since 1930. The sixteen-hectare vineyard is planted in volcanic soil with the indigenous Piedirosso and Caprettone grape varieties. The estate combines organic production methods with a limited annual bottle production. In addition to wine, the business produces limited quantities of olive oil, liqueur, and grappa.
