About the estate

The Brothers Khutsishvili estate looks back on a family winemaking tradition that began in 1900 in the village of Ratevani. Today, brothers Guram and Giorgi manage two hectares of vineyards planted with varieties such as Rkatsiteli and Chinuri in the villages of Khatisopeli and Ratevani. The annual production reaches 16,000 bottles of natural wines crafted using Qvevri, classical, and Bolnisi winemaking methods. The wines from the Bolnisi PDO denomination reflect the regional diversity and are distributed on both local and international markets.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Saperavi and Rkatsiteli. The estate sells to retail and horeca. Export markets include Austria, Germany, Belgium and Portugal.
