About the estate

The Ortega Ezquerro winery has its origins in 1896 when Quintín Ortega planted the first vineyards in Tudelilla in La Rioja. Today, the family business is managed in the fourth generation by Carmelo Ortega, who leads the estate together with winemaker David Bastida. The focus of their work is on producing wines within the Rioja DOCa denomination, combining artisanal tradition with a modern approach. The portfolio emphasizes village wine origins and the characteristics of the local stony soils. The operation bridges historical heritage with the demands of contemporary oenology.
