About the estate

The Bodegas y Viñedos Heras Cordon estate looks back on a family tradition in red Rioja wine production that began in the 19th century. In the 1970s, the three current owner brothers started the national commercialization of their wines, later establishing the foundation for the modern winery. The family owns 50 hectares of vineyards located in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, complemented by the production of local vine growers. The current winery facilities in Fuenmayor were completed in 2001 and feature underground cellars dedicated to the aging of crianza and reserva wines. Today, the estate distributes its wines globally, maintaining a strong focus on tradition and quality originating from the region.
