About the estate
The family-owned Bodegas Viña Berneda was established in 1981 in Uruñuela in the heart of Rioja, drawing on a long winemaking tradition. The first bottle under its own label was released in 1991. The estate combines traditional craft methods, such as carbonic maceration in open vats, with modern technology. All wines are produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes. Alongside young wines, the portfolio also includes selections aged in oak barrels.
