About the estate

The Bodegas Urbina estate is a family-run winery located in Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón within the Rioja Alta wine region, boasting a history spanning over 150 years. In 1870, Salvador Urbina moved to the area and began producing wine in wood using estate vineyards that continue to be cultivated today. Descendants have carried on the profession across generations, eventually incorporating stainless steel tanks alongside traditional methods at the current winery. The wines under the Rioja DOCa denomination are known for their classic style and aging potential. The winery exports a significant portion of its production worldwide.
