About the estate
The family-owned Bodegas Tobía estate in the Rioja DOCa was founded in 1994 by agricultural engineer and oenologist Óscar Tobía, who comes from a family with four generations of winegrowers. Following an initial location in San Asensio, the winery relocated to Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón to accommodate the growing demand for its wines in over 30 countries. The estate focuses strongly on innovation and creativity, highlighted by the production of Spain's first barrel-fermented rosé. Its portfolio comprises the three core brands Tobía, Óscar Tobía, and Alma Tobía.
