About the estate
The Protos winery was founded in 1929 with a strategy focused on quality as a top priority and brand strength as a competitive advantage. Its early wines received a gold medal at the 1929 Barcelona Universal Exposition. The estate operates within the Cigales DO, Ribera del Duero DO, and Rueda DO denominations. Since opening its doors to the public in 2009, the winery has become one of the most visited destinations in the region.
