About the estate
The Bodegas Pago de Larrea estate was established in 2003 in Elciego within the Rioja DOCa region and is situated directly surrounded by its vineyards. This small, functional facility allows for an exclusive production of wines such as Caecus, which is crafted from grapes grown in the La Romañíguez vineyard. Following manual harvesting with an initial selection in the vineyard, the grapes undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. For the maturation of the wines, the winery maintains a barrel room with a capacity for approximately two hundred French and American oak barrels.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Tempranillo.
