The family-run Bodegas Martinez Alesanco estate is located in Badarán within Spain's La Rioja region, drawing on a long-standing, generational connection to viticulture in the Alto Najerilla Valley. Following years of producing wine in traditional underground cellars, a modern winemaking facility was built in 1994 and later expanded in 2020 with new installations dedicated to wine aging. The portfolio ranges from young white and rosé wines to traditional reds such as Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva, alongside organic options and a distinctive wine produced from the minority Maturana Tinta grape variety. Today, the grandchildren of the founders manage the estate, maintaining traditional methods while utilizing contemporary cellar facilities.
