About the estate

The Bodegas Luis Gurpegui Muga winery traces its history back to the early 20th century when Primitivo Gurpegui Muro established his first cellar in San Adrián. Subsequently, his son Luis Gurpegui Muga drove the significant expansion of the wines throughout the region. Today, the family-run estate consists of two large buildings, featuring modern facilities with a capacity of up to 12,500 barrels. The production focuses particularly on the aging of Reserva and Gran Reserva wines. Well-known brands of the estate include Viñadrián, Gurpegui, Monte Ory, and Dominio de la Plana.
