About the estate

The Bodegas Vega del Castillo winery has its roots in a long winemaking tradition dating back to the foundation of the first cooperative cellar in Olite in 1911 by Don Victoriano Flamarique. In 1999, the current structure was formed through the merger of the cooperatives from Olite, Pitillas, and Ujué. The estate's wines reflect the conditions of the region in Navarre and are based on the work of the affiliated winegrower families. Modernizations of the facilities over the decades have contributed to the continuous development of production methods.
