About the estate
The Bodegas Lecea estate is located in the Las Cuevas district of San Asensio in the heart of Rioja Alta. The historic family winery, dating back to the 16th century and passed down through generations, features an extensive network of underground cellars. Winemaking is based exclusively on estate-grown grapes, allowing for rigorous control over production. The winery combines modern techniques with traditional methods, such as maturation in the ancient underground tunnels. The portfolio includes a carbonic maceration wine produced in a traditional stone lagar.
The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Grenache.
