The Bodegas Lagar de Zabala estate was founded in 1997 by the family and is located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra within the La Rioja Alta area. The name originates from historical rock-cut wine presses discovered near their prestigious vineyards. Covering forty hectares of estate-owned vineyards, the winery mainly cultivates the Tempranillo and Garnacha grape varieties. Operating under the Rioja DOCa denomination, the wines are produced in facilities that combine traditional artisanal methods with modern technology. The estate distributes its wines across Spain and throughout Europe.
