About the estate
The family-owned Bodegas Forcada S.L. winery is located in Rincón de Olivedo in La Rioja within a territory considered a biosphere reserve. The history of the estate dates back to 1910, when Marcos Forcada planted new vineyards after phylloxera and built the original cellar. In 2001, David Forcada representing the fourth generation constructed modern new facilities equipped with cutting-edge technology. Grape cultivation is conducted in the ecological ecosystem of the Alcarama mountain range through practically organic methods. For maturation, the estate utilizes French and American oak barrels to produce structured and elegant wines.
