The Spanish winery Bodegas El Paraguas was founded in 2011 by Marcial Pita and Felicísimo Pereira and is located in Cenlle within the Avia Valley in the Galicia region. The vineyard area is distributed across various historic plots such as La Viña la Cabrita, Paraje de la Mina, La Viña del Médico, and Capilla de Nuestra Señora del Socorro featuring sandy soils on a granitic base. The cultivated grape varieties primarily include Treixadura, Godello, Albariño, and Mencía. The estate manages the vineyards without the use of herbicides, relying on manual harvesting and a low-intervention, artisanal vinification process. The wines are aged in stainless steel tanks and temperature-controlled French oak barrels.
