About the estate
Bodegas Cámbrico, located in Spain, was founded in 1999 by Fernando Maillo with the mission to halt the decline of viticulture in the region. The estate cultivates eleven hectares of vineyards spread across 130 micro-plots within the Sierra de Salamanca. The focus lies on old vines of the indigenous Rufete variety as well as other local grapes planted on very old slate and granite soils. Built in 2006, the semi-subterranean winery is integrated into the natural environment of the natural park and utilizes the slope for gravity-fed winemaking.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Tempranillo and Rufete.
