About the estate
The Bodegas Benito González estate manages over 600 hectares of vineyards located in the La Manchuela region. Viticulture is conducted exclusively through dry farming using organic techniques without synthetic plant protection products or herbicides. The vineyards are planted with red varieties such as Bobal, Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as white varieties including Verdejo, Moscatel de Alejandría, and Macabeo. Modern winery technology includes stainless steel tanks, temperature-controlled fermentation, and pneumatic presses to process grapes from both their own vineyards and other local winegrowers. A small percentage of the annual production is bottled and marketed under the Hibeta brand, while the majority is sold in bulk.
