The winery Bodegas Bauza is located in the historic town of Elciego in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. The family project began in 1968 with Estanislao Bauza producing young wines through carbonic maceration, and was later continued by his son Jesús Bauza. In 1987, the estate moved to new facilities, which improved the development, labeling, and distribution of the wines. The estate's wines reflect a commitment to quality, respect for origin, and the preservation of local winemaking traditions.
