About the estate
The Bodegas Alvia winery is located in the heart of Rioja Alta directly along the Way of Saint James in Ventosa. The estate produces wine from its own vineyards that are over 100 years old using a completely artisanal process. Harvesting is done manually in small boxes to ensure the grapes arrive in optimal condition. The portfolio includes a selected classic range reflecting traditional winemaking as well as the high-end premium line LIVIUS. The premium wines are aged in new French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels from renowned cooperages.
