The Bodega Virgen de la Vega S.Coop. based in Haro, Spain, was founded as a cooperative in 1965. The operation unites 200 farming families dedicated to producing pure wines from the Rioja DOCa denomination. Following its construction on an initial surface area of 1,600 square meters in the founding year, the facilities were expanded in 2001. Today, the winery occupies 18,000 square meters and has a capacity of ten million liters.
