About the estate
Founded in 2002, the Bodega Sanclodio winery is located in the Avia Valley in the heart of the Ribeiro region and covers a vineyard area of 15 hectares. Established by filmmaker José Luis Cuerda and currently led by Carlos Moro, the estate is dedicated to reviving traditional indigenous grape varieties. On steep hillside terraces, varieties such as Treixadura, Godello, Loureira, Caiño Blanco, and Lado thrive and are crafted into distinctive wines. The estate combines respect for its historical heritage with a commitment to quality and excellence. The resulting wines reflect the unique terroir of the designation of origin and continue a long-standing winemaking legacy.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Treixadura and Godello.
