About the estate
The Bodega San Esteban winery was founded in 1953 by 16 founding members in Murillo de Río Leza within the La Rioja region in Spain. The estate owns vineyards situated at different altitudes on clay-ferrous soils, including old vines of the Viura and Tempranillo varieties. The grape portfolio is complemented by indigenous varieties such as Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano. The cooperative produces a range of fresh young wines, full-bodied red and white wines, and barrel-aged wines.
