Bodega Finca Cárdaba

About the estate

The Bodega Finca Cárdaba estate is located in Valtiendas in the province of Segovia and traces its history back to an old property with origins in the tenth century. In the 1980s, Carmen and Julián acquired the then ruined estate, thus laying the foundation for today's family-run project. The winery initiative began with the planting of the first vines between 1999 and 2000, a venture in which their children now also participate. The vineyards cover a total area of 29.5 hectares across plots including Santa Apolonia, San Bernardino, San Benedetto, San Frutos, La Viña de Teo, and La Viña de Julian. The cultivated grape varieties are Tempranillo and Viognier, yielding wines under the Valtiendas denomination.
