About the estate
The Bodega el Arca de Noé was established in 1953 as the oldest cooperative winery in Rioja, located in the heart of High Rioja. Today, 274 members spanning four generations cultivate 780 hectares of estate-owned vineyards in San Asensio. The estate combines regional winemaking tradition with modern and functional facilities for the production of its wines. The aging of the red wines takes place in an underground cellar housing numerous oak barrels. The wines fall under the Rioja DOCa denomination and reflect the cooperative philosophy of the winery.
