Boccadoro

About the estate

The Boccadoro estate is situated in the heart of Franciacorta on the hills of Calino and builds upon a long-standing family tradition initiated in the 1970s by Luigi and Giovanni Lussignoli. The official label was established in 2014, with the winery opting for organic farming right from the beginning. All vineyards are entirely company-owned and feature predominantly stony and calcareous soils. Due to the proximity to Lake Iseo and its prevailing winds, the area benefits from a favourable microclimate characterised by a good diurnal temperature range. The production is dedicated to Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wines.
