About the estate
The Bio-Weingut Diehlmann estate is located on the outskirts of Niederotterbach in the Southern Palatinate and has been run as a family business for generations. Alois Diehlmann advanced the cultivation of wine in 1990 before Tobias Diehlmann steered the company in an ecological direction in 2017. With a little more than 1.5 hectares of vineyard area, the estate cultivates its vines according to organic and partly biodynamic principles. The grapes grow on lean soils rich in limestone and minerals in the Niederotterbacher Eselsbuckel vineyard site. The grape varieties cultivated here include Riesling and Pinot Noir in particular.
