About the estate
The Barbalonga estate is situated on the slopes of Mount Orfano in the heart of Franciacorta and originates from a property acquired in 1988. Following the clearance of the overgrown land, the initial vineyard was established, later supplemented by the purchase of another small plot. The first grape harvest took place in 2011, with yields gathered through the careful selection of individual bunches from young vines. Today, the winery produces distinctive Franciacorta DOCG wines that synthesize the characteristics of the local terroir.
